The National Archives Pearl Harbor Program Online is now available. Shown Wednesday, December 7th, 2011, in Washington DC courtesy of the National Archives and Newseum, you can now see it online here. My husband and I are going to attend the ceremony at Pearl Harbor  in Hawaii on the anniversary itself.

The program, It Is No Joke—It Is a Real War: How Americans First Learned of Pearl Harbor, features journalist Marvin Kalb using film, audio, and photographic records from the National Archives and the Newseum to discuss how the media informed Americans of the 1941 attack on the naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The premiere at the National Archives, in partnership with the Newseum, commemorated the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack with a free public program in the William G. McGowan Theater of the National Archives Building.

You can see the presentation here courtesy of CSPAN. For other blog posts on Pearl Harbor, click here.
