A new NARA Genealogy Series is coming in May and June. The free webinars feature using US National Archives records for genealogy research. I think we all missed last fall’s annual Virtual Genealogy Fair, cancelled because of the pandemic. So it’s great that we’ll be able to attend this new genealogy series.

One big difference: instead of a single-day event, each program session will be broadcast individually. Genealogists are invited to watch and participate in real time with the presenters and other family historians from around the world on YouTube.

NARA Genealogy Series Topics

WHEN: May & June—all sessions begin at 1 p.m. ET

The sessions offer family history research tools on federal records for all skill levels. The May sessions appeal to the beginner and beyond. The June sessions focus on specific topics and are designed for more experienced researchers. All are welcome! Session descriptions, videos, handouts, and participation instructions are available at the Genealogy Series web page.
