It certainly does make one think about what we’ll leave behind. On the other hand, wouldn’t you like to know your great-grandfather hated Mondays and was sometimes bored? It will put some flesh on the bones for future genealogists:-)
Something to think about–not just the next time we make an entry on facebook, but for all the trails we leave behind. Our generation may be “me” focused, but we are not the end of the line. Genealogy has certainly opened my eyes to thinking of the future in respect to the past.
