About CuriousFox US:

CuriousFox UK was created in August 2002. The aim was to provide a resource for finding and identifying the myriad of UK villages and hamlets, and to provide a facility for genealogists, and family and local history researchers to make contact and share knowledge at a village level.  Our UK site has been working really well linking up many, many people with lost family, finding family they didn’t know existed,  ands putting them in touch with local residents or other researchers with knowledge of the same families or houses.  In 2004 we added  Ireland and now the USA.

The US site will take several months to build up but is already producing some good results for users.  We wanted to avoid annoying banners and endless affiliate links so the site costs are covered by a small annual subscription fee. CuriousFox is a semi-hobby business set up and run by a husband and wife team from their home in North Cornwall. CuriousFox lives at Tregoodwell, Camelford, Cornwall.
